Your guide will pick up you at the Yangon International airport and visit the green land, Yangon. Visit Shwedagon Pagoda, walk, to the sound of bells and incantations of the faithful, at the foot of the huge golden stupa that the last light of the sun ignites a thousand lights. And continue to Chaukhtetgyi Pagoda, reclining Buddha image. It is housed in a large metal-roofed shed, only a short distance, located north east of the Shwedagon Pagoda. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit the Bogyoke Market, lacquer market, precious stones, fabrics and art and artifacts. Then, directly drives to downtown city where you can see colonial buildings, many of these beautiful structures now stand in disrepair. These amazing buildings have seen a lot over the years, including colonial control, a Japanese invasion, military rule, and the struggle for peace. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Breakfast. Flight Yangon to Heho domestic airport. Picking up from Heho and drive to Kalaw. During the colonial period, Kalaw was a British hill station. Relics of this area still exist within the township with colonial style buildings and the British built rail network. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit around Kalaw sightseeing, Hnee Pagoda – lacquered bamboo Buddha, Kalaw railway station, Kalaw Market and Shwe Oo Min Pagoda. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Breakfast. Early morning, walk to the market and buy all the provision for your forthcoming 3 days trek.
Trek to Mtin Daik Railway station and enjoy a walk to Ywa Pu village for 1 hour and simple lunch at this village. Continue to Lut Pyin,1 hour and next 20 minutes to Shar Pin village. Then trekking to lamaing village. That village is for dinner and overnight stop at local home.
You will see Danu, Taung Yoe, Pa-O and Intha ethnic groups on this trekking way and you will enjoy trekking along the shan plateau, lovely landscapes and plantation of rice, potato, cabbage and ginger. Most of the people you will see are farmers.
Simple local breakfast. Enjoy a walk through the Shan valleys, pine forests, tea plantation, and cultivation of cheroot, damsons and mangoes on the hillsides, 2 hours to Nang Orh village. Continue to Paw Kei village about 30 minutes and next to Kone Hla village about 3 hours. Enjoy local lunch at this village.
After 3 hours of walking through the farms and forest, you will reach Pattu Pauk village and continue to Hti Thein village. Dinner and accommodation at Hti Thein village.
Simple breakfast. Start trekking to Kyauk Su village and it will take nearly 2 hours. Then next to Nang Yoke village and it will take about 1 hour. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Continue to Tone Lei village and transfer to jetty. Your boat will pick up and transfer hotel or Nyaung Shwe. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, visit Inle lake, a fresh water lake. You can discover numerous small villages with floating houses and life style of Intha (the people of the inle). Visit the NgaPhe monastery, also called “jumping cat monastery” since its monks have trained cats to jump inside rings. This wooden monastery, built on stilts, contains an astonishing collection of Buddha statues. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit the Phaug Daw Oo Pagoda, which contains 5 Buddha Statues brought from the Malay Peninsula in the 12th century (during the pagoda festival in September /October four of them are transported aboard a gigantic golden barge for the visit of riparian villages) and visit the floating market, some of its many artisanal silk-weaving, cigar-making factories. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Breakfast. Transfer Heho airport and flight to Yangon. Visit Botahtaung Pagoda, located beside the Yangon river. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit to the Kandawgyi Garden where you can see the view of the golden Shwedagon Pagoda. Transfer to the railway station to ride circular train that give you the opportunity to enjoy observing the colourful life of the rural people. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Breakfast. Free time until to transfer you to the Yangon international airport for departure.
